Debido a la pandemia mundial por COVID-19 muchos países han dispuesto la distancia social y otros permanecer en sus hogares de forma obligatoria.
Este workshop online busca ayudar a los fotógrafos a trabajar sus capacidades narrativas dentro del contexto contemporáneo.
Por única vez se presenta esta oportunidad de recibir un workshop mediante video llamada pudiendo personalizar el contenido dependiendo del interés de cada autor o aspirante a fotógrafo. Proyectos personales, fotografía editorial, fotografía de viajes, retratos de autor, fotografía con dispositivos móviles, fotoperiodismo y fotografía documental. Mediante una charla previa se pueden ajustar los contenidos de las 4 sesiones de 2 horas de duración. El workshop se brinda en ingles y castellano.
Due to the global pandemic due to COVID-19, many countries have set aside social distance and others have to remain in their homes on a mandatory form.
This online workshop seeks to help photographers work on their narrative capabilities within the contemporary context. During this COVID-19 pandemic, this is an opportunity to receive a workshop through video call, personalizing the content depending on the interest of each author or aspiring photographer. Personal projects, editorial photography, travel photography, author portraits, photography with mobile devices, photojournalism, and documentary photography can all be exploren.
Through prior arrangement, we can discuss the content for the four, 2 hour-long sessions. The workshop is offered in English and Spanish.

Focus: The workshop seeks to help photographers work their narrative capabilities within the contemporary context. The search for a personal language becoming aware of our identity, geographical and historical framework. Providing tools for the development of authors long-term projects. Focusing on important aspects such as theme, aesthetics, and funding. Having in mind the experience and career of every author, we will analyze ideas and ways of developing stories in which we might be involved for several years. Finding a plan of action and work that will allow us to develop stories in a progressive and consistent manner.

The journey as a metaphor of our life. Whether we are in our neighborhood or in a distant culture, we need to recognize ourselves in the other. How to act in an unknown culture, staying away from the expectations of "exoticism". The journey as a quest for a personal language. Immersing in the sea of individual experiences that allow us to define as photographers. What defines us as individuals? Who are we? Why do we take photos? How can we relate our photographic projects to our personal experiences and interests?
One of the greatest challenges of a photographer is to know and explore his personal language in a sea of individual experiences. Our identity, cultural and geographical context often determines the way we look. Become aware of these elements and begin to reflect on them when creating our work looking for an intention in the photographic act. The workshop seeks to help participants to work their narrative capacities within the contemporary context, where social media (Instagram) acquire a leading role. Editorial Photography, Travel and Portrait. As visibility our projects through different channels, festivals, publications ( Editorial and books) and Instagram.
Focused on those people interested in developing a personal look and voice. Where I want to go and what kind of photographer I want to be. Photography can help us verbalize feelings and experiences that we were previously unable to speak. Travel as a metaphor, whether we move from one place to another or take a travel attitude in our own environment. Ways to narrate adapting them to social networks. As part of the workshop, people who are developing a project or want to start one will be followed up with a tutor program.
Day 1 Presentation of the participants. Presentation of autobiographical work.

Uno de los mayores desafíos de un fotógrafo es conocer y explorar su lenguaje personal en un mar de experiencias individuales. Nuestra identidad, contexto cultural y geográfico muchas veces condiciona nuestra forma de mirar. Tomar conciencia de estos elementos y comenzar a reflexionar sobre ellos a la hora de crear nuestro trabajo buscando una intención en el acto fotográfico. El workshop busca ayudar a los participantes a trabajar sus capacidades narrativas dentro del contexto contemporáneo, donde las redes sociales (Instagram ) adquieren un papel protagónico. Fotografía editorial, viajes y Retrato. Como visibilidad nuestros proyectos a través de diversos canales, festivales, publicaciones y Redes Sociales.
Enfocado a aquellas personas interesadas en desarrollar una mirada y voz personal. A donde quiero ir y que tipo de fotógrafo quiero ser. La fotografía puede ayudarnos a verbalizar sentimientos y experiencias que previamente éramos incapaces de hablar. El viaje como una metáfora, ya sea que nos movamos de un sitio a otro o tomemos una actitud de viaje en nuestro propio entorno. Formas de narrar adaptándolas a las redes sociales. Como parte del workshop se dará seguimiento a aquellas personas que estén desarrollando un proyecto o quieran comenzar uno.

Toma, edición, presentación del trabajo para distintas plataformas, redes sociales y la construcción de una audiencia a travez de distintos canales. Salida de grupo! Storytelling with portraits
One of the greatest challenges of a photographer is to know and explore his personal language in a sea of individual experiences. The workshop seeks to help participants to work their narrative capacities within the contemporary context.
I have always been deeply interested in Portraits . Whether stage or spontaneous, my intention has always sought to use this resource in a search for my language and my own identity as an author. The portrait is a very powerful tool to describe the Latin American reality and to be able to give dignity to my characters who are generally immersed in very complex realities.
Focused on those people interested in developing a personal voice as an author using portraits. Where I want to go and what kind of photographer I want to be. Photography can help us verbalize feelings and experiences that we were previously unable to speak. History of the Portrait, who were before. Contemporary portrait, different narratives adapting them to social networks. As part of the workshop, people who are developing a project or want to start one will be followed up with a tutor program.
Day 1 Presentation of the participants. Presentation of autobiographical work.
From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Day 2 Introduction to the portrait, history, styles and formats, fllash and natural light.

Contando historias con Retratos
Uno de los mayores desafíos de un fotógrafo es conocer y explorar su lenguaje personal en un mar de experiencias individuales. El workshop busca ayudar a los participantes a trabajar sus capacidades narrativas dentro del contexto contemporáneo.
Siempre he estado profundamente interesado en el retrato. Ya sea posado o espontáneo, mi intención siempre ha buscado emplear este recurso dentro de una búsqueda de mi lenguaje y mi propia identidad como autor. El retrato es una herramienta muy poderosa para describir la realidad latinoamericana y poder brindar dignidad a mis personajes que generalmente están inmersos en realidades muy complejas.
Enfocado a aquellas personas interesadas en desarrollar una mirada y voz personal a travez del Retrato. Historia del Retrato, quienes estuvieron antes. Retrato contemporáneo, distintas narrativas adaptándolas a redes sociales. Como parte del workshop se dará seguimiento a aquellas personas que estén desarollando un proyecto o quieran comenzar uno.
Día 1 Presentación de los participantes. Presentación de trabajo autobiográfico.
